"Blessed are the Pure in Heart for they shall see God"

Nearing the end of our time in Ezra, we look at how Ezra reacts to the sin of the people as they married with the locals, disobeying God, and opening themselves up to again be drawn away from God. We learn that sin is not a minor problem, but that it requires both our repentance, and the great mercy and grace of God, which we (after Christ) know was purchased for us by Christ's death.
